Retreats

For many years, a number of Vancouver Sacred Web Singers (SWS) have attended Carolyn’s workshops and retreats in Edmonton, Nanaimo, on Okanagan Lake and the Prairies, as well as other places in Canada and across the US.

For more than 2 decades, Vancouver SWS have been holding retreats once every 2 years at Rivendell Retreat Centre atop Cates Hill on Bowen Island.

Each retreat has an all-encompassing theme and, throughout the program, we sing songs that express that theme. We do rituals, spend time in nature, sit in quiet reflection, and eat sumptuous catered meals together.

Our retreats deepen our connection to the music, with ourselves, to the earth, with each other, to spirit. Feel free to browse the images/slideshows from some previous retreats below.

Our next 2-night retreat is booked for June 20 to 22, 2025. Typically, information about the retreat and a registration form are sent-out 4 to 5 months before of the retreat.
